Product Information Grade
Rubaloy – 6040 is non-staining, blend of NBR and PVC designed to meet very high ozone, abrasion and oil resistance standards.
Processing Characteristics
Rubaloy – 6040 is easily processible on conventional Rubber processing/compounding machines. It has a very good filler and plasticizer absorption which makes the compounding cycle quick, saving time and reducing costs. Warm mixing mill compounding is recommended for best results. Rubaloy – 6040 can easily withstand elevated compounding temperatures. Recommended plasticizers are DOP, DOA, DOS, DBP, TCR, CPO and other Aromatic Plasticizers. Paraffinic based softeners are not recommended.
Curing
Standard Sulphur or Peroxide curing systems are to be used.
Applications
It is a high quality with a slightly different specification.
